Ireland Trip! Day 4 (10/24): Stranraer, SCOTLAND

Today I got to take a really bumpy ferry ride from Belfast to Stranraer. It was on the ferry that we decided to maybe stay in Stranraer. We were really hoping to maybe get to Loch Ness, but it just seemed like way to out of the way. The conditions today on the high seas weren't too good. but whatever! we are explorers! The ferry was actually super nice, they had a kids room, a cinema, a sports bar and a restaurant. Guess where we were? It was a couple hours ride before we got to Stranraer. It was really not until we stepped off the boat, took a quick look around that we officially decided to stay there. It was just a cute tiny, little quiet town with green hills all around, and right on the ocean. So why not? Again, we set out walking around looking for a place to stay, we walked in one direction along the beach for what didnt seem like that long, and then we realized we were about to exit the town. So we turned around and walked inwards towards the city centre. Although we saw like like 5 different signs for the city centre going 5 different directions. We found right away a street full of Bed and Breakfasts. The first one we went into was full, but I was a little confused when I walked in, cause we walked into a bar. Turns out all of these places had a bar as the lobby area. It was cute. The second bed and breakfast made us a good deal. They had the three person rule too, but let us stay in one room anyway. Jenny and I shared a tiny little bed. We felt really dumb when she told us breakfast was included and we got all excited. It was a bed and BREAKFAST. We were tired. When we ventured out into the town, we found everything abandoned. We went to a couple of pubs and were the only ones there besides the bartenders. It was kind of cool. So obviously it was a really mellow night in a really quiet town. Now here are a bunch of photos:
