Florence was absolutely beautiful. But getting there sucked. On thursday, we missed the bus to the airport and had to pay for a taxi. Then, when we got to the airport in Paris they took away my toothpaste!! (I forgot to mention it before, but they took my face wash on the way back from Ireland. :'( mean.) Then once we got to Rome, we had to spend the night at the airport. We got zero sleep, as we were busy battling an army of mosquitoes. It was miserable and we got a tiny bit loopy. But by 9 am we were on our flight to Florence! Obviously we were very tired, but decided it'd be a good idea to get on a train to check out Pisa for the day. It was difficult, but then very excitnig once we actually got to the leaning tower! I had two cones of gelato today, first tiramisu and then Pistachio. I am in love with gelato!! We headed back to Florence and enjoyed our very first Italian food dinner. I had Spaghetti and it was absolutely MARVELOUS. And I never describe things as marvelous. We were in bed that night by 8pm. Losers.
